Rev Dr. V. Smith was ordained as a Missionary in 1977 at House of God, Waltam Park Road, Jamaica. Rev. Dr. Smith has attained bible courses through Mandeville Bible College, the Seventh Day Adventist church program, "Voice of Prophesy", Los Angeles in which she was successful. In 2004 Rev. Dr. Smith attended Cannon Bible College in which she received her degree in Biblical Teaching.
In 2006 She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Pastoral duties . Overseer Smith now sits on the board of directors for Canadian Christian Ministries as one of overseer and holds the responsibilities of Jamaica. Received her Chaplaincy degree and her Doctorate in Humanitarian in 2017.
